Tokenization: The Future of Money and Asset System
Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR) Financial Services, Banking and Insurance Working Group published the “Tokenization: The Future of Money and Asset System” report.
BCTR, a non-profit organization with the mission of “Creating a Turkey that leads the decentralized system in its region” with the vision of “Creating a sustainable blockchain ecosystem in Turkey and creating a sharing platform to address the challenges ahead of new era business models with this technology”, was founded as an initiative under the umbrella of the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV).
Within the framework of the principles of evaluating current issues and areas of use related to blockchain technology with the Working Groups under the roof of BCTR; bringing together the relevant stakeholders and preparing publications to increase the dissemination, awareness and use of Blockchain technology in Turkey, to investigate its benefits and to determine its strategic priorities; In the “Tokenization: The Future of Money and Asset System” Report prepared by the Blockchain Turkey Platform Financial Services, Banking and Insurance Working Group:
The basics, standards, importance in the blockchain ecosystem and potential applications of the tokenization concept were discussed. In addition to the benefits provided by tokenization, such as increased liquidity, transparency, direct ownership and reduced transaction costs, the challenges and limitations arising from factors such as regulatory barriers and security concerns were also highlighted.
The report gives examples of successful tokenization projects and their effects on the sectors. The future expectations, new opportunities created in blockchain technology and the potential for transformation of various sectors are summarized in the tokenization axis.
